Coronada Island Marriott Resort, San Diego, CA.
The Coronado Island Marriott Resort is nestled on 16 acres of waterfront property just across from the Coronado Bridge with incomparable views of Downtown San Diego and the Coronado Bay Bridge.
The Resort offers 300 guestrooms (our guestroom was a little dated), 7 executive suites, and 28 villa suites. There are 3 outdoor pools, a health club, a full European Spa, bike rentals, 6 lighted tennis courts, a jogging trail along San Diego Bay, golf at 70 nearby courses, and private charters. The hotel even offers guests a water taxi service across the harbor to Downtown San Diego. The Resort is conveniently located near Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and the Wild Animal Park. All of these nearby attractions are wonderful for families. We especially love Sea World.
Overall, we enjoyed the Coronado Island Marriott Resort, but don't go there looking for full children's programs. The Resort offers no children's programs, but babysitting/childcare is available from qualified agencies with advance notice.
