Paradise Point Resort & Spa is located on a beautiful, exotic, tropical island right in the heart of San Diego. SeaWorld is just down the street and the famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park are close by, making this one of the premiere vacation spots in California.
The gardens at Paradise Point are pretty incredible. Bright blossoms and swaying palms line the walking paths throughout the property. Families oftentimes rent quadracycles and use these to explore the resort. Recognized as a recreational haven, the Paradise Point offers 5 swimming pools, an 18-hole putting golf course, an NBA regulation basketball court, a sand volleyball court, and lawn croquet. We love their main lagoon pool with its lush landscaping and sandy beach area for kids.
Spread across this 44-acre private island, are 462 quaint bungalows that are just perfect for families. Each bungalow comes with kitchenettes and private patios that overlook either lush gardens or the sparkling waters of Mission Bay. If you have children you can sit on the patio and watch over your sleeping toddler and at the same time supervise your older children as they play in the sand. Such a relaxing vacation. Everything you need is at the resort so you can just slow down and unwind.
During the Summer months Paradise Point offers an excellent "Kids Kamp" that is aimed at children ages 3 to 12 and offers a variety of activities including nature walks, arts and crafts, aquatic sports, putting golf tournaments and more. On weekends families can enjoy a "Dive In Movie," where you watch movies on a big screen from the comfort of your floating chaise lounge.
Paradise Point also has a number of unique restaurants that offer both relaxed and gourmet dining. Be sure to check out the Barefoot Bar & Grill which is a hot-spot for the locals and has island-style entertainment outdoors on the patio.
