Planning a reunion?

Plan ahead. Give your family members plenty of notice so that everyone will be able to plan appropriately. That can mean avoiding conflicts, saving money for the event and enjoying the prospect of getting together.

Make it a family affair. When choosing a location, get input. Be sure to choose a destination where there will be something for all age groups to enjoy.

Have fun with the invitations. Create a family collage using old family photos. Consider using an online registration form or registering with an online reunion site.

Group together. Whether you choose a cruise line, hotel, resort or camp site for your reunion, make the most of your numbers. You can negotiate group rates!

Car pool. The same goes for renting cars if necessary. The major car rental companies will work with you to provide the best rates possible for your family gathering.

Take pictures. Who knows when the gang will gather again? Take plenty of photos and make plans to share online once everyone is back home. Consider hiring a professional photographer to get one really great group shot!

Have fun! Laugh, play and enjoy being with members of y Choosing the right spot for a family reunion can be as challenging as convincing cranky Uncle Charlie to be on his best behavior. But it can ...and should be a memorable experience that brings you and your relatives closer together.
