So many slopes, so little time!

Ted is perhaps the most avid skier of my three sons. So it is fitting that he and I will set out to sample a few powder proud ski areas so that we may report back on the latest offerings for families - from toddlers to teens. Because we live in Phoenix, we have the good fortune to be able to hop on Southwest Airlines flights to many of the west's great ski destinations. We are making our list and checking it twice. And the best news this traveler has heard in a while? Southwest will begin serving Denver's International Airport in January 2006. That's a boon for those of us eager to experience the Rocky Mountain high country at a fair and reasonable price! We'll be there before the season ends.
