We are now on board the mega-ship Carnival Magic as she makes her inaugural voyage from Venice to Barcelona. After a festive naming ceremony that included CEO Gerry Cahill arriving via “helicopter” on the showroom stage, a Godmother’s moving tribute to St. Jude’s hospital and plenty of well-wishes, the good times have begun.
The 130,000-ton ship is the 100th vessel in the company’s fleet. We are heading toward Dubrovnik now.
